The Illuminatus Trilogy – Robert Anton Wilson & Robert Shea

If you are looking for originallity in conspiracy theory books, go no further than “The Illuminatus Trilogy” by Robert Anton Wilon and Robert Shea. As they would probably put it, its more honest to steal than to borrow.

This is a hillarious book, written in the early seventies based on collections of conspiracy theories prevailing in the late 60′s and early 70′s.

Its amazing how ludicrous all of the recent Illuminati based movies and books (tomb raider and The Da Vinci Code) appear when we read this book written over 30 years ago that mocked the very notion.

I keep two copies of this book, one to re-read every couple of years when I’m in need of a good laugh and philosophical stimulation, and one to loan out to friends.

I whole heartedly recommend you beg, borrow or steal this book as soon as possible! (I don’t advocate theft, but you are really missing out if you don’t read this book, so maybe you could return it with apologies after you steal it.)

NOTE. This website, its author and the publishing domain provider do not condone stealing and all references to stealing on entirely satyrical in nature. Don’t steal, its bad. If you are considered bad, people might think you are a no good Sh!t.
