There's Something About Harry

Today is shaping up to be one of ‘those’ To Do List Type of Days. I’m sure you know the type, one of those days where you have saved up by choice or happenstance.

Is there really a stance for something to happen and why does that mean accident?

So I have a bunch of things I accumulated that I need to tie up today.

All in all, for the most part the day doesn’t really feel like ‘my own’ even though these are my things to do. This is the busy work type of stuff that I need to get out of the way so that I can do the ‘heady’ fun work of actually building that new client’s sites, and making some new videos with that backordered software, and paying the bills with the proceeds from that check that hasn’t yet arrived.

I’m essentially working to facilitate myself, which sounds well, rather ‘self pleasing’.

In general though, I’m somewhat happy about the prospective of the busy work. The last few weeks have been all too important as I’ve been wrapped up in personal affairs. They were indeed very important and their priority surpassed all else, but its not the type of thing you want to do on a day to day basis. That would be too emotionally draining. So without any further ado, I’m off to it.

Oh and by the way, writing this article chipped away at the ‘dozen other things part of the list, because I’m publishing this article direct from the Office 2007, Word 2007 Publish to Blog function, making a video of the process and trying to figure out if this is a useful blog editor or not. And more importantly if it generates good or bad code!
