Kids Wading Through the Mud

There are two ways into the water at our place.  One is off the dock and into the deeper water where it is relatively sandy.  The other way is to wade in from what we call ‘duck island’ a muddy sand bar created where the creek and the lake meet up. 

The kids like to wade from time to time, especially when the water is not that warm.  The price they pay for this activity is mud between the toes.
