Just Finished Book 4, Tales of Alvin Maker

I hope everyone is having a happy and safe holiday season.  I have been traveling (driving on the road about 2500 miles) and so have been listening to a long audio book.  In fact, I just finished Book 4 in the Tales of Alvin Maker by Orson Scott Card.

I’m saving the review of the book until I return home in a couple days, but wanted to wish all else safe travels and a happy new year if I miss you before then.  I have been trying to stay healthy while traveling.  My wife and kids were touched by the flu bug (as opposed to Alvin’s doodle bug).  Me I felt kind of achy for a day or two, but seem to have missed it.  Part of that might be my constitution, my age, my over all health, dumb luck or the vitamin C and nutritional supplements that I have been consuming in the hopes of avoiding the flu bug myself.

Tonight, I set off down the road again and will be listening to Book 5!
