Invitation to Melt Away

Dear Ice Covering the Lake,

I’m going out of town for a few days.  I’d like to invite you to pack your things and vacate our cove while I am away.  I’m expecting another visitor (Heat Wave & I know you two don’t get along too well).

So please leave.  I’ll be happy to see you again in a couple years, but you really are needed in the polar ice caps now.
