Hype or Hope I’m Getting Things Done

Years ago I learned that the best way through a problem is typically forward.  So I am continuing to work to get things done.  Obama may be the hope of the nation or he may be they latest hype to be served up by the media.  I can’t tell as I have not seen him accomplish anything other than getting elected.

I did vote for him, but that was more out of a lack of trust in McCain for flip flopping so much from 2000 – 2008.  I do think that if Obama is not completely pandering some aspects of his agenda and the support they already have could work too, but I’ve seen enough politicians pay lip service to good ideas and then fail miserably, so call me skeptical.

In the meantime, I’m going to keep working to get things done and make certain that I am making progress myself.  If everyone else is able to do the same, I’m not that worried about the future.
