On a few occasions I have burned the audio books that I have downloaded from Audible.com onto CD’s so that I could listen to them in the car. Its a service that Audible provides in the form of a CD burning utility specifically for Audible books.
The problem is that to do this, you typically have to burn about 15 – 30 CD’s for an unabridged book of any decent length. This leaves me with a stack of CD’s that would require a real estate franchise in order to house and organize all the CD’s (that all look the same). It is a bit of a nuisance.
I’m now wondering if I might be able to burn a single book onto a recordable DVD.
Now, I do realize that I could not watch the DVD’s ergo there is no video. I do not care about that, but if I could listen to the book through the audio track on a DVD that was able to hold the entire audio book that would definitely be much more manageable and convenient.
